Pyrate Dinner Menu

Dar be no hamburgers o' pizza, but a real period pirate meal just like pyrate ate in the Golden Age. Arrr meal is being catered by the First Coast Technical College ~ School of Culinary.

Dinner will start out with of Salamagundi salad which consists of fresh green lettuce,boiled eggs, diced celery, chopped chicken, and horseradish. Dressed with a lemon and olive oil vinaigrette. The main dish will be lobscouse, a saltydog's favorite thick stew of beef, onions, carrots, potatoes, peas, thyme, and pearl barley. Good ta honest hard tack with yar stew, that sea biscuit you can shoot out of a cannon. Arrr version will be weevil free n' eatable. Dessert will be sailor's duff a sweet tasting but hardy pudding, similar to bread pudding and has cinnamon, nutmeg, and raisons, throughout.

I promised this will be an unforgetable meal, that ye will be raving about fer the rest of yar life.

There will be vegetarian versions of the meal, but you must e-mail me to let me know that you want one.

Cutlass Fighting Class
On Sunday, Tiger Lee will also be holding two special 1 hour pirate cutlass sword fighting classed at 11am and 5pm.  Class is based on actual period naval cutlass techniques and not on commonly used modified fencing movements.
