Jailer's Key Pistol

Version: Firing

From the 15th to 19th century, jailers have been making guns from jail keys as a way to defend themselves.  Most people think that these tiny guns would be powerful enough to kill people, but they were much more effective as sounding an alarm for help.  We have crafted one of solid brass.

The firing version is designed to fire a .177 bb with a 5 grains 4F black powder charge. Designed to fire with slow match, candle or cigar. May contain a slight bend to the shape. This be arrr most affordable black powder weapon. Will go through one side of as aluminum can.
