How to Dress Like a Pirate

This be the secret to dressing like a pyrate, buccaneer, rogue or salty sea dog that no soul has put quill to parchment.  There be 3 main categories and 2 styles.  The categories be based on the position, and the style be based on wealth.  This be a system that divides the many different looks of a pirate into something easy to understand n' makes the decision process much quicker.

Types of Pirates:
Yar position on a pirate ship will determine the amount of cloth ye be wearing.  A successful pirate will have either plundered fancier clothing or bought it.  A down-on-his-luck pirate will only have whatever rags he be wearing.  You can have a rich seamen as well as a poor captain.  The fancy and the rugged shows the range that any one position can have.  It is common to have two outfits; one to sword fight in, and the other one to go to the ball in.
