Well a Spanish Treasure Galleon be in the waters of La Florida, so being pirates, we had to take a visit.  This be replica of the San Pelayo which founded St Augustine n' commanded by Capt Pedro Menedez de Aviles.  It be in Port Canaveral from Nov 14 to 30, so visit this 170 foot beauty while she be arrrrr warn waters.  It is the only fully sized 16th century replica of Treasure Ship that exist today.  

This be one of the ship's featured in the NBC's series Crossbones which we made some firearms for.  This be one of the largest tall ship that I have been on.  It was build in Span in 2004 and has visited 52 countries.

Here be the latest on-line pirate magazine to hit the net.  The first was Pyrates Way, which started out as a physical magazine which converted to an on-line one, they are based in the North East, they are in their 25th issue.  The second magazine is Mutiny Magazine, based in California be on their 10th issue. The third and newest magazine be, Pirate Nation, based in Florida, has come out 2 days before Talk Like A Pirate Day. The publisher n' editor be Captain Kraven MoreGrog, who also be the founder of the Crewe of Thee Leviathan.

The magazine seems to focus on more on what today's pirate community is doing socially, instead of focusing on the past history of pirates. They are ambitious in their undertaking, as pirates should be. The have article of upcoming sponsored pirate and renaissance festival in different sections of the county.  In addition to the magazine, they arrrr working a number of daring ventures: such as On-line Pirate Dating Portal, Pirate Barter Exchange, the Pubs of Pirate Nations which offers a Challenge Coins to get discounts at bars, list of Charity Endeavors, Anne Bonny's List of reviews of vendors - similar to Angie's List.

The format of the magazine is a bit hard to read in its digital format, they are designing like a [physical magazine, but they are not.  They should format it for the computer screen for an older crowd.

Overall the Pirate Nation Magazine is not as polished as the other two older magazine, but it does seem to fill a niche that is different from the other two. As it get a few more issues under its belt, I hope it fulfills some of it ambitious promises, so the pirate community will grow.

Here be arrrrr first pirate costume mash up.  Tomb Raider Lara Croft as a pirate, n' it be a real treasure, yarrrrr!  In the lasted version of Tomb Raider they did add A Pirate's Life Mission on Shipwreck Beach to the 2013 game. They should of dressed Lara as a pirate, so we decided to do it.

Aye, we be the first one to do this grand idea, just fer arrrrr customer who be liking to CosPlay something different. Here be a fun video about how many weapons ye can carry aboard a heavy armed pirate, arrrrrgh!  All the weapons in the video, except fer the damascus knifes come from arrrr store.  We custom build the leather harness that holds all the weapons.  Let me know what ye be thinking.

Generally speaking, any pirate show is better than no pirate show, as they be fairly rare on national TV. This be the only year thar be two pirate tv series in the same year. The Treasure Island in 2012 was more of a 3 part made for TV movie, not really a series. Then in 3007 be the Pirate Master the ill fated Reality TV program. The last and long great pirate TV series be "The Adventures of Long John Silver" featuring Robert Newton. In 1956, it aired a full 26 episodes in the USA, UK n' Australia.

We let us expose arrrr part in this program. In the first scene of the series where Tom Lowe, the British spy N doctor uses a blunderbuss to destroy a shinny brass chronometer. Who do ye suppose supplies that nice French Blunderbuss? We also supplied arms to the Black Sails Starz Series as well.

I had high hopes fer CrossBones as it was suppose to be based on Colin Woodard's book, The Republic of Pirates, which be about how a collection of pirate captains attempted to create a democracy in the Bahamas. Instead they changed a non-fiction book into a fantasy TV series about a dead pirate named Blackbeard. Set in the year 1729, 11 year after Edward Teach died at the age of 38, played by the 60 year old John Malkovich. I guess death ages you most severely. The show doesn't explain how Black Beard avoided death, what is plans are, what this republic of pirates is about. There be lots of historical points they don't follow: clothing, speech and women.

Based on the Metascore of 23 critics, 8 were positive, 11 were mixed and 4 be negative. On the IMDb of 1776 review it got a 6.5, while on Rotten Tomatoes it got a 61%. Most pirate re-enactors hated it, while more of the general population liked it. Some TV series start out slow n' get better with time, let us hope that this be the case.

Last Fall we got a request to make some items for ImaCrew, which be an Event Planning and Event Services company in Milian, Italy which specializes in video game promotion.
